Oeko-Tex® is an international association, founded in 1992, of which many independent fabric testing institutes are part, which guarantees the absence of health risks in compliance with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.
For textiles and clothing companies, the catalogue of Oeko-Tex® criteria offers a scientifically proven assessment standard in order to guarantee the human-ecological safety of textile products, and which takes into account the globalized and extremely fragmented nature of the textile production chain.
The Oeko-Tex® label indicates that garments have, as an added value, the extra guarantee of having been assessed for their safety regarding human health.
The Oeko-Tex® association’s slogan is "Confidence in Textiles", a promise of international responsibility in ascertaining raw materials, right up to the checking of the end products which are sold in stores.
- We only use the highest-quality Australian mother-of-pearl buttons. All buttons are sewn using the “lily-stitch” method, providing the most robust attachment.
- Our minimum stitch count is at least 8 stitches per centimetre, ensuring a durable seam
- The sides and armholes are realised using single-needle stitching. This produces a more durable seem with a lower propensity to crease.
- Removable collar-stays are present in all of our collar-styles (with the exception of button-down/round styles)
